Is the TB-14 any good?

Played a charvel at GC and it sounded actually not bad. Warm and G. Lynch sounding.

I think it's pretty and quite sweet
but the lack of mids can drive you nuts with the wrong rig

I was playing on a TSL 100. Marshalls are kind of middy.

So a TB-14 is same as Custom 5 but with Alnico 5 right?

A C5 is alnico 5
