Is this a 24.75" Scale 22 Fret Conversion Neck?

I picked up an unusual old 1988 neck on eBay for a Super Tele Project, but, after receiving the body and a second neck I had coming I discovered that the eBay Neck was not a 25.5" Scale / R3 Nut neck as described but a 24.75" Scale / R1 Neck. Based on researching Warmoth Conversion Necks and what a Conversion Neck is...3/4" difference in fretboard length, location of frets modified, etc...took some pics next to a 25.5" Scale 22 Fret Neck for comparison...Conversion Neck?

Measure nut to 12th fret, if it's 1/2 of 24.75", then it's a 24.75" neck

Next, put it in a standard tele body's pocket and see if you can get 24.75" to a saddle...if you can, it's a conversion neck. If you can't, it's for something else entirely

PS could also be 24", 25", 25.1" etc

I want to agree with just the first sentence of the previous post

Hard to measure it by eye , over the internet

Kinda looks 25.5 to me

Re: Is this a 24.75" Scale 22 Fret Conversion Neck?

12th Fret to Nut is 12.375 so half of 24.75 and top end of Fretboard to bridge saddles hits 24.75 perfectly. Presumably a Conversion Neck based on those two measurements.

Thanks for the info and direction!

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, quacks like a.... what else could it be?

Unless you're referring to a very specific product from a specific manufacturer vs. other items that perform the same function, but originate elsewhere?

24.75" w/ R1 nut ain't bad with a Floyd, unless you're looking to drop tune on small gauges.

Ha! I agree; similar to Nightswan Specs. No drop tuning, all mine are in standard.
