I cant see Seymour Duncan engraved on the back and no stickers ext. Double cream can of course be ordered from the custom shop with a cover.
the bobbin does seem like Duncan though, the square prod hole on the left of either bobbin. But I doubt this is duncan.

Nope this is incorrect. There was a time that this was possible but they will no longer grant this request.

The pickup in the OP is highly dubious.

I thought the DCR on a '78 was around 10K. The description says 8. 84K.

OK, I remembered wrong. It's around 9K, so I guess 8.84K would be within range.
