Is this Dyno Bucker fitted correctly?

Here is a photo from the Seymour Duncan Tonefiend archives of a Dynobucker fitted into a Guild Semi.

Thing is.....if you look at a Gretsch with an original Dynasonic pup you will see that the orientation is opposite to the Duncan shot.
So the screws are not at the fretboard end.

I have bought the SD DynoBucker and would like to know which orientation is correct.....or doesn't it matter?

If the guitar is a 22-fretter, then put the poles closer to the neck.

Anyway, it's a single-coil, so there's no "right" or "wrong" orientation; try both and see what sound "best" to your ears.

i think they will sound a little different depending on which way you install them but the difference will be subtle
