Is this guitar alright?

Hey again, I've just been looking around CL and I spotted this: https://bham.craigslist.org/msg/4912469605.html What is this guitar exactly and is it worth the 65$? My sister wants to start playing and I've been looking around for a cheap but still alright. (And if it isn't in the best of shape or they just sound awful before being modded I'm still looking for more cheap guitars to completely strip down and re finish/get new pups) How would it compare to a Washburn X12 QVS? as that's my current one. As for the amp, most of the time she can use my Roland Cube 30, but sometimes she may need to use this one.

Hmmm. I was looking and if it is what he said it is, it's 3/4 scale? If so I think she can use my Washburn or Infinity for now.

This is a far better idea. The Washburn/Roland combination adds up to a decent starting point.

If your sister decides to persevere at guitar, she might want to choose some other design and/or colour scheme to suit her tastes. Equally, your sister might decide against solid body electric guitar and move to something more hollow or try da bass.
