Is this normal

I installed the ZW set on my guitar and there's a lot of hum, more than my warlock, is that normal? and could not putting the heat shrink tubing on the joints i soldered be the problem? (also when i get within 2 feet of a T.V. it stops but makes a little ringing sound with i play)

Did you disconnect the string grounding and use the supplied pots?

Try taping around those joints, I've found that caused hum, but not a lot of it.

Somethings definately wrong....Deadskinslayer probably answered your problem. It's fool proof to wire the Zakk Set...

Although I followed the wiring exactly....it seems that I wired my toggle switch backwards...The treble toggle is the neck and rhythm is the bridge. Is that correct?
I just followed the schematic no probs and not a big deal how easy is this to fix anyways?

BTW you pretty much have to use EMG pots.

That set should be very quiet! I love it.....now im thinking of getting a tele or another paul because I would like to try a PG or Jazz Neck with a OMG I don't know Duncan has some awesome options for the bridge.

I have been thinkin of doing a warmoth guitar since I live about 10 miles away!
