I'm working on a LP-style project. I've got everything built and put together and it feels and plays great. Now I'm wanting to hot-rod the wiring for a wide range of tonal options. I've got a DiMarzio 36th Anniv PAF in the bridge and a Duncan Design HB103 in the neck (Not my favorite PU, but I had one laying around and I plan to use it split a lot, so I figured higher output might work out well). I've also got a piezo Nashville bridge and a Fishman Powerchip preamp. The Powerchip will take up one of the spots for a tone knob, so I'd like to have a master tone knob that adjusts tone for all 3 pickups - both mag humbuckers and the piezo. I also want 3 push/pulls - the bridge vol will split the bridge hum, and the neck vol will split the neck hum. The 3rd push/pull I want to be the master tone that when pulled will kill the humbuckers and activate the piezo. I'm not concerned about blending or running a stereo signal, so I don't think I'll need a stereo jack, but I could be mistaken. The 3-way toggle will just function like a standard LP setup.
So the questions are: is this possible? Can I have push/pulls that split AND a push/pull kill switch at the same time? If it is possible, any tips on a good place to figure out what the wiring would look like? Also, since I'm not blending the mags and the piezo, am I okay with just a mono jack?
Any help is appreciated. Cheers!
