Peavey just released thier windsor amp in january, so there is little information elsewhere on the net.

with 120 watts of tube power for $400, the peavey looks like a good deal on paper, but does anyone have any experience with them?

I want to pick this thing up for help with gigs. Nice EL34 tube crunch to compliment the Bassman...should be big and full and mean. Maybe I could find an EL34 amp used for cheaper but the windsor just seems so cool.

It sounds really Marshally, hence the Windsor name. I think the only reason it's $400.00 is it's made in vaChina. (Sorry, no offense to anyone) It really sounds good. Really crunchy but if you want to play high gain metal ala Lamb of God, try a Zakk Wylde OD in front of it. That sounds HUGE!!!!! $0.02:smokin:
