so i discovered a high 14th fret under the B and high E strings. my first inclination was to file it down and crown it.
but since i had zero experience doing this i got the bright idea to see if i could tap it in, thinking that maybe it just wasn't seated down fully into the slot.
low an behold, the high fret issue was solved. the 14th fret was now level.
fast forward a few months when i'm playing around the 12th fret on the low E and A strings and notice a buzzing.
get out my fret checker, and what to my surprise do i find. a high fret. yes the same fret that was high under the B and E strings.
I tried tapping down the fret under the low E and A strings. just to have the other end of the fret pop up.
i'm now playing a game of whack-a-fret.
smack down the fret on one end, have it pop up on the other.
what to do... what to do?
