Italia guitars ?!

Re: Italia guitars ?!

I've played a few...dig them to be honest. Nice guitars for not too much cash and even out of the box have good hardware, decent pickups and are set up fairly well to boot...

Re: Italia guitars ?!

They are pretty nice, and well worth the money. Feel every bit as solid as a midrange Ibanez with nice fretwork, great finishs, decent electronics etc.

Some unique styles that personally I dig, however, they are a little on the pricey side for me just for a "I'd like to have it because it looks cool" type of instrument

I'll drop $200 or so on something because its sort of funky looking to add to the collection but when you get into Eastwood, Italia etc, your getting into the serious instrument range and $600+ instruments have to be something I'd really want like a USA Fender

Very cool looking, well-built, with proper hardware and electronics (Wilkinson) and very well-playing. I love them, and have bought one of their basses about a month ago, the Torino:

It's a great instrument. I agree they're a bit on the pricey side if you consider them just a "I'd like to have it because it looks cool" type of instrument, as Millsart calls it, but they can be a lot more than that given their great playability and tone. My Torino suits me and one of the bands I play in very well, so this will definitely see a lot of use! :)

Re: Italia guitars ?!

I love their guitars. My buddy has the Maranello bass and it is fantastic. Their dealer network is a little weak but if you find them I am sure you'll be real happy with them.
