it's holding up pretty good.. although i think i'm going to have to take a break to keep the fretboard blood free :laugh2:
btw.. do they have spare whammy bars for sale there? i want a chrome one. i was around the stores here today and all they kept asking me, what guitar it's for.. i say forget the guitar, the bar is for an OFR, the more they ask me what guitar it's for..
i whip it out of the gig bag and say this one... they go WOAH
but they dont make those anymore.. >.<

Sure...I was gonna order myself a new one in Gold anyway next week, you can just tag along on that order if you like....last guy that wanted a chrome one paid 13.50 shipped (to Estonia, which is also zone 2, so it should cost you exactly the same)

so, i condemned to Not have a guitar setted up PROPERLY FOR EVER
UNTIL ZERB OR JOHNJOHN Move to brazil and sfix my guitar issues

the whammy bar looks like it aint original (it's black) and it wobbles a bit.. have to replace it, but for now, i'm LOVING it

ok... final tally
my SG sounds better. which pisses me off since the charvel is FAR more resonant and richer unplugged (the SG sounds dark and dull in comparison) but plugged in the epi SMOKES the bridge bucker. much more chunk and grind, the harmonics are pretty even, though the reflex pup delivers a handfull more when the boost is acticated. the JB has a better bass response too.
the neck of the charvel is poetry! the epi fits in my hand a tad better,but that slows me down a bit and makes my hand cramp cos i got to have it in a more unnatural position.
well, this pup will go out and a TB-4 will go in, but i dont know what to do with the neck pup cos the tone is cool... gota think of something =/
