And a bunch of you guys are freaking awesome! First off I don't have the stuff to record with, but even if I did I would be ashamed to stick it up here against some of this totally awesome awesomeness! I mostly do some Skynryd riffs on the old LP's and bluegrass stuff on the acoustic but I've always wanted to shred and it is a skill that eludes me.

Only good can come out of posting stuff. If it's good, you will know about it and gain confidence and if not you will gain advice on how to improve.

I actually came up with the idea for this room years ago as the forum was expanding and I'm glad I did.

You guys ROCK!

This statement presumes that the author of the audio clip is able to handle constructive criticism. It also presumes that the clip author will recognise and reject flattery.

awesomeness!! This is my favorite room/forum. the other rooms are about purchases and gear acquisition syndrome for the most part, and are focused on purchases of the right gear. I dont visit the off topic room so I cannot comment on that.

this room is about creating music!

Never be ashamed of your best. Never let yourself be stopped by fear of failure. No matter how many mistakes you make, always finish the song.

There once was a time when I was no sound engineer. That didn't stop me from saving up for a 16 track and recording demos with the band as soon as we had written songs and putting them out on home printed CD-Rs. It didn't matter that they were rough, lo-fi and loose. Those demos ended up getting us hundreds of gigs, metal radio airplay, fans off the bat before half of us had even seen a stage and got us featured on no less than 7 worldwide compilations. Had we waited until everything was perfect, I doubt it would have had the same effect. Sometimes you've gotta just go for it.

I have grown an ample of respect towards for a lot of you guys just like hangin' on in here. Maybe I don't leave a note, maybe I'm not active like a normal forum guy. I'm an ignorant MOFO I admit. But I'm listening and I'm keepint ejoying stuff there.

I love gear but - **** gear. It doesn't matter. It is you what really matters at the end of da day.

Supermassive Respecto, for y'all, doing your own stuff, your way!
