This thread is annoying.

I don't understand what you are doing. If you are buying EVERYTHING new, why not just buy a new body from Warmoth? I don't understand why you would buy a new neck, new tuners, new pickguard, new pickups, new bridge and then use an old Squier body that you have to pay a luthier to fix or change.

BTW I wouldn't place too much emphasis on the neck pickup. To my ears Adrian never uses/used it very much - that was Dave's thing, while Adrian used the bridge, hence the contrast when they trade solos.

It would be a good point if he said Musikraft instead of Warmoth ... From what I've researched, if you want to build a Charvel Clone you want to go to them.

Nice looking guitar!

I was going to suggest.. be careful with those Warmoth 3-ply pickguards.. they tend to be a smidge too thick, making the heel of the neck pop up (not seat properly into the heel cavity).. you will need to grind down the wood thickness of the 'overhang' where the fretboard overlaps the pickguard, or grind down the pickguard (which is more difficult to NOT screwup)

better yet use single-ply
