That's a completely subjective question. They both make excellent high end guitars. Comparitively, the ESP's seem to be a little more expensive. But quality wise, I think they're pretty much equal at the higher end.

I believe you're meaning Jackson Usa as you already stated ESP which I take to be the japanese shop?

The quality is commonly thought to be equal, although there are people who favor the other, naturally.

The cost issue isn't as black and white as it's said to be often, either. New Jacksons cost 50% extra to new ESPs around here.

I bought a new ESP a while ago, and looked at jackson too but couldn't find any ay comparative prices. It's been a really great axe, no problems.

People favoring either one of those companies are often subject to arguing about what brand is better, but they're united by the cries of 'hail metal!'... as cheesy as it may be! :laugh2:
