What is the difference between SL1,SL2, and SL3? I'm checking ebay and I don't want to overpay for one.

SL1 = USA Soloist, HSS setup.

SL2, or SL2H = USA Soloist, HH setup.

SL3 = MIJ version of the SL1

SL4 = MIJ version of the SL2H, although I believe it has 22 frets instead of 24.

Yup, stick with those for USA.

I'm currently in the market for an SL1 or SL2H, and even an RR1 or KV-2 if I can find one for around 1000$. Right now, however, the picking is kind of slim. I have my eye on one SL1, I think that'll go through, but nothing is concrete right now.
