Jazz neck = Screaming Demon neck model ?

I have those two pickup and they are very similar in the way that they have the same qualities:
medium ouput
balanced with a bright top end and lots of harmonics
a very high resonnance pick ( 8 for Jazz and 7 for Demon )
a tremendous clarity in chords
a super definition that allow to pick speed light phrases
So I was wondering if they are basically of the same build ( wire gauge 43 ? , etc ...) ?

Are you asking if the Jazz is a good match with the Demon in the Bridge?
The Jazz is a great neck pickup and matches up well with most Vintage and Medium output bridge pickups.
The A5 magnet is the same as in the Demon and that makes the match more ideal.

Not even close. I've tossed an SH-12 in the neck position before and it was nothing like a Jazz neck. They share some similar qualities, but the voicings are very different.

That said, I currently have Jazz neck and Demon bridge in my LP and am really digging the combo.

Edit: Oops, sorry, didn't realize you were asking about construction.

I have the feeling Jazz pairs good with much pubs?! What I heard it goes fine with the JB, Custom, Custom 5, Jazz, Demon and even Invader

Please try to stick to my question :smack:
Is there anybody who know the technical species of those pickup?

43 guage. In the same ballpark resistance wise of a 59 but since the wire is thinner and its the same resistance, it has more treble. I'd like to know more also.

Re: Jazz neck = Screaming Demon neck model ?

I'm fairly certain that they are both a5 pickups with 43 guage wire. The DEmon would obviously be wound hotter and it has the Allen head screws for added treble response. I can't give you more details than that. Is that more of the kind of answer you're looking for? :D

Yes it confirm what I thought .
A final word : those two pickup are the best ever and ultimatetly made for player who want everything , tone of heaven for speed , complex , heavy and sophisticated music .
I have tried and change pickup often but couldn't find better than Jazz neck and Demon bridge ( in a balanced guitar ) : smockin :smokin: :smokin: !!!

I've been wondering about this combo for a guitar with a hollowed/solid mahogany body, maple top, mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard. Would this setup be too bright for an ebony board?

My experience with this combo is in a thick basswood Ibanez Roadstar with a mapple top and rosewood fingerboard , very balanced .
If your guitar is bright accoutically I would not recommand it but else it's fine.
