Jazzmaster: Lollars vs Antiquity 1 and 2

My CIJ Jazzmaster needs better pickups and someone was recommending Lollars. I play through distortion and do a lot of sonic experimenting in a Sonic Youth, Pavement way. I also love Wilco and Nels Cline (my band actually covers Impossible Germany). I learned of Antiquitys from learning about the great Nels Cline. Anyway more than likely I can afford the Duncans over the Lollars, but was wondering what people knew about the differences in the 3 pickups? Once I make this purchase that will be it for some time to come and want to make the best choice. And also does Nels use the Ant 1s or 2s?

I've never tried any of those pickups... But also consider Novaks. I stuck with Duncan JM Hots, for more useable (to me) bridge tone and balance.

ive only really spent any time with the antiquity II and if you want a vintage fender sound, i think they do a great job. bright, spanky, and full sounding without being muddy

A couple of cheaper options are Manlius or Vineham. Both great winders.
