JB and Jazz Seem quiet, any suggestions ?

Re: JB and Jazz Seem quiet, any suggestions ?

Special Thanks too Ted and Erikh for helping me. I have tried the wiring diagram that Ted suggested and I can say works fine. All 5 movements work and they are all the same level. Thanks guys, a great job.

Thanks for your help guys Much apprieciated. Now all i need to ask is....

Where does the White/ red soldered together go ? in placement of the red before or the white before ?

If you never intend to use these pickups as anything but full-on humbuckers, they don't go anywhere. They just serve as the link between the two coils so just put tape over the exposed wire so it doesn't short out the signal, the end.

Otherwise, the intention of 4-conductor humbucker leads is you can wire it to a switch with the black lead on one side and the red-and-white combo soldered to the other and you can select between single-coil or full-humbucker.

I'm reading a lot of posts in here like this lately but I don't understand why because a pink slip of paper with the color code and wiring diagram is included inside every SD pickup box. It should be pretty easy from there, unless you bought these pickups used.
