jb for Ibanez

Hi Ihave an Ibanez prestige rg1550 and Iwould like to change the bridge pickup. At present it has an Ibanez V8 the body is basswood, floydrose and the fretboard is maple. My question is if the jb pickup would work well

I have a JB in the bridge of my Ibanez RG570. Gives a very good Megadeth tone through a Marshall

I had a JB in the bridge of my JS hard tail for years. It worked great. I would have kept it but the Phat Cat is just plain better for what I'm after.
