JB Humbucker Wiring Help

[SD2000]

I just put a new JB Humbucker in the bridge position of my Gibson SG.
It sounds great.

However, should I wire the green wire to the ground?

I soldered the green and red together and taped them off.

I soldered the bare ground to the back of the volume pot.

What is the green wire for?:dunno:

hi, you must solder the green and the bare to the ground, the red with the white togheter (so the HB works in series), the black goes to the output/volume/switch or what ever..

if the green is not grounded i wonder what sound you are getting. We dont have a complete ciruit here. Unless grounded the white in which you've only got one coil engaged.
