JB in a ash strat.

I'm routing my strat to fit a full size humbucker in the bridge position. I think I want to go with a JB. Will there be a problem with my 250K pots, or will it sound bad? Will I have to change pots?

250k pots work fine with the JB.

The reason I chose the Jb was somewhere I heard it was designed for Jeff Beck to work with 250k pots on his Tele. I normally use 500k pots for humbuckers.
