Jb/jazz Split--awesome!!!!

I just finished installing a DPDT push/pull for splitting my HBs.Now in the middle position of the 3way switch on my Santana SE, I get more quack than my Strat.
BTW-The total cost of this guitar plus the pups was about $750can.(around $650US). I'd say this thing has road warrior written all over it--my best buy yet!!!!:banana:

Yeah, I intend on doing the same exact thing with my Santana SE. DPDT pots, JB/Jazz, all that.

Can you get a good ZZ Top Billy Gibbons tone with it?

Yes with that cool Crate 50 of yours I sould imagine so.I think thats what gibbons uses now.Of course you could go with the Pearly Gates pups for the ZZ sound but I think the JB/Jazz in the middle position would do the trick.
