Hello out there in pickup land!
I am new to this, so bare with me. Not only am I new to this forum, but I'm also new to doing my own work on my guitars. Other than changing strings and a few other minor maintenance tasks, I am by no means a guitar technician. However, I have decided that I do want to learn. That being said, seeing as I own 16 different guitars, I decided to use my own gear to try and teach myself a thing or two that I didn't already know such as...installing pickups.
I have recently discovered that the Seymour Duncan JB and Jazz set are my new favorite pickup set, and am trying to install them into my B.C. Rich Bronze Series Warlock. It's a cheap guitar, I know. But it is cool looking, and it does have a pretty good neck on it. And even if I DID want to get rid of it, I wouldn't be able to get anything for it anyway. So, I figured I might as well make some upgrades to it so that I might be able to actually get some use out of it instead.
The problem I'm having is that I cannot find a wiring diagram for this installation anywhere. It seems pretty simple. The guitar consists of one master volume control, one master tone control, and one 3-way toggle switch. However, I've scoured Seymour Duncan's website, as well as the rest of the internet, and I can't seem to find the diagram I need anywhere. I even emailed the folks at Duncan direct, but never heard back from them. I'm not trying to do anything fancy with this guitar; no coil-tapping, no phase-switching, nothing like that. I just want 2 awesome sounding series-wired humbuckers put into this guitar so that I can use it for practices and one or two songs at the occassional gig that I feel like taking it to. Can anybody out there help me out? Please and thank you in advance!!!
