JCM 800's Vs. JMP, How do they compare?

Re: JCM 800's Vs. JMP, How do they compare?

You never know with JCMs as they get into the mid and late 80s, esp the 2205/2210 models - they are wildly inconsistent, and built for that buzzier, high gain saturation.

You might or might not like them.

the Late 70s JMPs and Eary 2203/2204's are a GOD SEND! They are one part Plexi, one part JCM800, and a lot of attitude! They snarl, brown out, get gainy, have warmth, and most sound amazing from the first second!

Take pedals AMAZINGLY!

Yes, I am biased here!

I think I want a late 70s JMP after I am done with my laney collection, a JMP from the 70s not a JCM, I love Ritchie Blackmore and to JMP sounds like the closest thing to a Major with out actually bying that lunacy of a volume.

That's where you go with the 100w NMV.
