What I'd really like to hear is a lot of palm muted riffs as I tend to judge an amp based on how it makes those riffs sound and feel. And not to rush someone who's doing me a favour, but I leave Thursday morning for two months.

B BFahz Guest Sep 3, 2007 #25 Re: Jcm800 Try the Peavey JSX. Great amp. Sounds like a 800 on Channel 2, a Mesa on Channel 3, and a very clean sound on channel 1. I love the JSX and Ive owned every amp under the sun.
