Jimnie Vaughan/Hendrix Strat

Re: Jimnie Vaughan/Hendrix Strat

I think he would, yeah. They're great for what they are. I mean, they aint no Ant's, but they aint some ceramic peices of crap from an overseas guitar. BTW, the guitar wasnt mine, it was a friends who left it at my place for like a month before he finally came back to get it. I wore his strings out, and played the ever loving sh*t out of that guitar. he had the 2 tone sunburst version. I would say that if we went back in time, and gave one to hendrix, he'd play it for awhile. Probably wouldnt have fallen in love with it, but it could've been number 4 or 5 in his book.

Thanks to the Guitar Player mag that I saw on the news stand, I discovered that my Olympic white JV strat looks just like Hendrix's '68, woodstock strat.

Is that cool or what?:)

It's just needs a few more scratches and...

I know! A '68 headstock! Sorry i just had to attempt to ruin it. :laugh2:
