I've been searching high & low for a single Tele neck pickup, or maybe even a Strat size to replace a dead one for about a month.

It has some custom wound Lindy Fralins in it now... :laugh2: I can't help it if they sound better than the originals! I do have have the original pickups...but they stay wrapped up in foam inside the case.

Lew, have your tried Bardens before? I had a set in a MIJ reissue and whlie they do a good job, they are NOT worth the price of admission.

Yep...I have tried them. Loved 'em!

I think it's probably a personal thing...plus I'm a diehard Tele and acoustic player so my chops are pretty clean.

I like the way my playing sounds with the Bardens.
