Johnson Amplification 1x12 extension Cab, good?

I can get one used here for about 160US$. J112, I plan to use it in an AX84.com P1 project valve amp.

Anyone know anything about these cabs? Out of production. Their website is vague. I certainly don't want to buy a cab that i have to fit better speakers to.

They call the speaker the "Johnson Premium 80 watt loudspeaker"

Is it a nice sounding, good cab. I find shop-testing a bit bewildering. So your feelings would be good before going to check it out.

I will also use the cab for my 20 watt H & K Tube amp...

Hmmm...

I remember the 2x12 which had V30's in it...

Just a typical MDF cab. Nothing crazy. I've never seen the 1x12 but it's probably some kind of rebadged Eminence driver.

There are plenty of things that other people love & I can't get a grip around.

That's why I always say YMMV.
