Johnson tube and hybrid amps?

Anyone use a Johnson all tube or hybrid combo? Price seems nice for what they are (practice/bedroom).

A local music shop got that all tube Johnson in stock on my suggestion. It sounds great. I haven't had a chance to wring it out much, but the owner himself said he was impressed by it. And this is a guy who has walls of old LP's, Fenders, etc. Its a "vintage" guitar shop.

I'm hoping to snag one once all these dental bills are paid. :yell:

I used to have the hybrid model (T15R) out of that range. The cab was cheap plywood, the pots crackled and the Alphatone speaker farted out easily. It did sound great, though. You really need to try Chinese stuff before buying.

Yes, it was warm, fat and crunchy. Classic sound.
