i finally got my new jon moore pickups installed in my bluesbird -- a2 neck and a3 bridge, paf winds. double creme. i highly recommend them. they've replaced the sort of muddy neck and the sort of shrill bridge (the original 1974 guild pups) with a very sweet and singing sound, and i've been playing my guitar all week as though it were brand new. my guitar tech changed the phase switch to a coil splitter, and even in single coil mode they sound cool. thanks jon!
