Hmm he used a modded Marshall DRP-1 preamp and a Distation if I remember 100% right. Through a CM combinator and a compressor I think?
No amps or anything, just the preamp, a bit of pedals and straight into the PC. Sounds great that setup

It was the AMT Dist Station on British, highgain, and Off axis on the mic sim.
Very good for homerecording stuff....but I am on the hunt for a JMP-1 now.

The FullShred is a GREAT PICKUP!!! I wish it were more famous so it'd get cheaper. Glad you like it Axl, my FullShred was sold to me by my good friend Theodie as I'd JUST joined the boards and today, both Odie and the FullShred are still my friends

The cool part about them is that they are versatile as hell.
I was playing Highway to hell, then a clean guitar part and then Kashmir (The Zeppelin song) and it all sounded great. It sounds a helll of alot fuller and thicker than my EMG 81, sounds much more Metallicaish than it did with the EMG

I told him that he has a lot of Vai vibe, and still stand by it, but he does not play like them, I could see that he likes that approach to music and yes influenced by them in a way, but not a clone.
Rid, that was fantastic man, really tastefull stuff, you frased with feeling rather than with intervals, very hard to do. Loved the Fullbed, I am getting one for my clone strat project its decided, its a civilized, well mannered, refined descendant of Invader. You outta to try Spina TS9 dude, really, mine was in box for years and I hated it, sending it to him was the last resort, now its one the most valued posesions I have. Anyways, I wanna hear FullShred in your Kramer, hint hint.
