JTM30 back from shop

Andy Brauer worked his magic, and the amp sounds killer y'all! (for what I'm looking for these days - pretty clear w/medium gain, some growl, not too compressed)

Funny story - first time I plug in I hear a weird noise that goes away, then as I'm playing with the clean channel, it starts up again. Freaked me out! After a few embarrasing calls to Andy and his tech, it turns out my the clothes dryer downstairs was shaking the foor, causing the tube cage to rattle (I hope that's all it was!). But the sound was horrendous when you're listening intently to an amp just back from the shop. Felt pretty dumb, but that's kinda typical.

Anyhoo, I'll try to do a real clip in the future, but for now...

Ended up talking to him for a bit on the phone about amps and such - very cool & funny dude. And the price was not bad at all considering the multiple PCB boards in the amp you gotta pull out.

I like that tone!

Thanks for commenting! Sounds even better I think with the master cranked higher, but didn't want to overload my phone's mic. Higher the volume the more "Marshall" it gets.

I remember eyeing that amp in the early 90s or something and thinking how great it was. Congrats on getting it back.
