The only upgrades/changes that I know of is the pickup rings changed from chrome to black but he gave me the original ones if I want to change them back, the neck was rubbed to satin which I would do to any guitar I own and the tuners have been upgraded but I don't know the brand?

Those are Jin Ho tuners. I had them on mine for a while as well, except with different buttons. I got mine off Guitar Fetish.
