I have installed the Hot Stack Plus before in a few of my Strats many years ago, and now I'm thinking of installing it in my Strat which arrives tomorrow. I believe looking at the wiring diagram verifies this:
Keeping in mind that I am not going to be coil tapping or coil splitting or monkeying around with anything like that, but I just want to use the pickup normally with no special abilities:
The red wire does not get used so I just tape that off and not use it.
The white wire goes to the switch.
The black and bare wires get soldered to the back of the volume pot (ground).
That should be correct?
