a preface-
honestly , i never liked any pedal that wasnt electro harmonix... i dont know why, but thats the way i was. i also had something against line 6 stuff, it screamed WALMART to me, especially the "guitars". am i weird? so a few months back i purchased a line 6 verbzilla because of all the rave reviews. i wanted a good verb pedal, and i heard from MANY that the verbzilla was the one. allthough its not exactly what i wanted tone-wise, its really good. so, im keeping it.
now on to the DL4-
i have recently been introduced to the acoustic ninja's music. i noticed that he looped a lot. i saw a phil keaggy show a few months ago and it was just him an acoustic and a loop pedal of some kind. it was amazing.
so i asked trace what he used to loop and he said he used the DL4 for all his looping. i ordered one the next day. it came in yesterday. the different pedal models are great, including a convincing version of a deluxe memory man. the loop sampler, even though its only 14 seconds of recording time, is really fun to mess with. this isnt much of a review, sorry.
