Just joined the Waza Club!

oh for sure. i used to haul a red knob twin and jcm800 half stack to every gig for a bit. i was young, dumb, and strong lol

That Waza seems sweet to me. I had a Dunlop Univibe with the stereo option from about 2007 to 2013. I liked that pedal.

Now I just use the chorus on my H&K head, but if I ever bought a chorus pedal again, it would be the waza or another univibe. I just don't want to have a huge pedalboard anymore. I already have too many and I only run the large footswitch for the H&K, footswitch for my Traynor YCV50, ABY pedal, wah, compressor, and fuzz (not in that order in the chain and they are connected to different amps). I don't even use my delay pedal (have delay built into the H&K), or various other pedals I don't use anymore such as overdrive, etc.

I'm trying to resist the urge to expand my pedalboard.

No shame, I just really look forward to hearing your thoughts. Pray keep us updated!

OK! Did it. And let me say this directly to you Mr. Sirion - damn you, damn you to hell!!!!! That ruined all other chorus for me forever.

Holy right-off-the-album Batman!!!!

I plugged into my HK Tubemeisater18, using a Peavey Sheffield 1x12 cab and a Peavey Classic 30 Combo. I got the volumes set ~equal Cabs maybe 4' apart and me 5' away. I also did some listening from maybe 3' away as well (Left HK, Right Peavey). I was playing my Les Paul Classic with Pearly Gates in the middle position, volumes rolled off a touch on each.

I played through each A/B/C/D settings, the S vs SDD320, and a few combos. (Usual stuff; Boston, White Lion, Bon Jovi, Black diamond, some Elton John, arpeggios and random chords strummed).

All I have to say is WOW. I have been loving this thing in mono - but stereo was whole other world. It added motion to the sound, but not in a univibe/tremolo kind of way. I'd say it was almost like a panned Tremolo but different. Some guys add a little extremely slight Tremolo in the mix for that, but this was different. The sound had a constancy about it. It was overall subtle. Almost more subtle than nearly any mono chorus I have used (meaning pretty much all of them). Like there was always a fundamental available and sound moving around that as well, but not in the typical chorus sort of way. It definitely added space and dimension (no pun) to the sound.

As for A/B/C/D they were all very similar. A was very subtle, but there, but D was not a ton more. It was like a regular chorus mix set on 1/2/3/4 of a 10 point knob almost. The S v SDD modes was, I hate to say it, also a subtle difference, but clearly present. The S was a bit warmer, and a little less smooth. The SDD was a touch clearer/sharper (but not harsh) and just a bit more even. They really dialed this thing in to not over do it. It almost reminded me of the mod on the tails of a delay. Kind of chorus but not.

Honestly - not a bad sound in the thing. The most "Obvious" thickest sound was maybe the S C+D tone. But even that was pretty chill.

Again - Damn you to hell Sirion for making want that sound on every clean arpeggio I play from now on. It definitely is not the most versatile sounding pedal, but the sound it has is just spectacular. Never heard anything out my amps like that. Tomorrow we try it with Distortion!!!!

Yeah, the Dimension is a special box. I don't think most people even use it in stereo (judging by some of the rigs I've seen), but if you do, it is worth it, and a normal chorus isn't really the same.

I aim to please! And I'm glad you're enjoying it - but given your tastes it was almost a given. And I agree with 100% of your observations.

Who knows, you might even like it with distortion!

PS: Make sure to try it both before the amp and in the loop.

It was in front this time for convenience.

I'm wondering if I can cop Rockman sound out of this. Sounds kind of similar IMO.
