welli just ordered my guitar port, should be here around wed. or so. i decided to get it instead of a noise supressor because i can deal with some feed back and i really wanted to do some better recordings because i write things so often. so i cant wait to get that and post some good quality clips. but you guys think this was the best decision...i mean i have a couple shows coming up and i do have the hassle of major feedback at practice every week but i dont know...which would u guys have gotten?

Your gonna love the Guitar port !! Lots of fun. Now... this feeding back issue?
What PuPs R U useing ?? Most if not all Duncans are potted in wax. This should solve most feedback problems?

Re: Just ordered my guitar port

my friends all laugh at me because i have good gear, and still use my guitar port... that thing is handy!

Re: Just ordered my guitar port

if you need any help and/or presets, i'd be glad to send one or two over

Re: Just ordered my guitar port

Thanks Davey i might take u up on that offer just to get me started, the guitar that is giving me problems is my EX-400, it has a pair of EMG 81's, i dont know if that is the problem though, i do know that something on my neck pickup is poorly soddered because everytime i go to the neck pickup on the distorted channel i get a hum so i might take it to get all the electronics checked out, maybe thats the problem but i jsut think it's the fact that i am using suge a high gain amp setting in semi-small envirorment

I used to get alot of feed back at practice, so we re arrange the way we had the amps set up and it cured it for the most part. I don't get a huge nasty feedback problem.
