So I just picked up a like new Belcat Tube 10 dirt cheap ($140 Shipped)!!! It was advertised as a store demo and according to the description it was only used a few times in the store for very short periods of time and never really pushed. Aside from a bit of dust it is in perfect "Like New" condition!!!

I don't really need another amp but for the price she was hard to pass up! Plus, I have been thinking about moving one of my much larger combos into the bedroom recently, which is probably where this will end up once I finish changing a few minor things that I don't necessarily like about it? (Mainly tubes & the stock speaker)
I haven't played one of thses exact models per say, but I have played out of a Belcat Tube 15R at a open mic night when I was sitting in with a friend 's band for a couple of songs. If I remember correctly I thought it was a great pedal platform & quite Fender-ish in nature! It has a single 6L6 power tube and one 12AX7 in the preamp to push it, given that valve layout I'm sure most of you can get the gist?
The only thing that's going to be a must in my book is a speaker swap! Im sorta hoping that I can figure out a way to widen the baffle & get a 10in driver in there but I'll have to wait until it arrives. I mean it would be amazing to get a 10in Celestion or one of the 4 10in Eminence speakers I already have on hand in there but I don't want it bad enough for me to start moving transformers & tube sockets around?
Anyway, at the end of the day if I can get some of that nice, warm, rich, (just starting to break up when you dig into the strings) tube tone out of it for my clean signal, with my TS-9 & Mad Prof. Silver Spring Reverb sounding good out front I'll be happy as a pig in poop!!!
I'm sure after 9:00 pm my neighbors will also appreciate me having something a little smaller on hand as well, LOL!!!
