Kahler Fulcrum Tremolo - HELP!!!!!

I believe it is also known as the Kahler 2500 series. I have a 1986 Jackson Soloist that has this unit and it is shot. I need a new one or I guess a new old one. Parts and saddles won't work cause the base plate is damaged pretty bad and Kahler parts website does not sell the base plate.

If you know anyone that can swap out the Kahler for a floyd let me know as well. The floyd requires a bigger rout so if the expertise is there it should work although the mounting screws might be a problem.

I can get someone to put on a fixed bridge I would do that as well.

My preference is to find a Kahler Fulcrum in working order and keep the guitar "original".

If anyone can help I would greatly apprciate it.

Re: Kahler Fulcrum Tremolo - HELP!!!!!

I recall a buddy of mine having a few lying around, some were even NOS in the orginal packaging.....

If I don´t get back to you within a week please remind me ;)

If you e-mail me or post a picture I can verify if I have a baseplate for you, too. I don't think mine is the 2500, but I do have one of those old Kahler baseplates with the inverted knife edges, and some saddles too.

Not the one I was thinking of. I don't know of anyone who has that. Good luck, maybe check if the stud spacing matches an American Standard or Wilkenson trem.
