That looks delightfully supreme!

Oh, and btw, the pinch harms at the start of the Near Dark solo has my face dancing. How embarrasing!
Thanx, Bee!
Glad you like the lead break to Near Dark; I think I used my Jem for that solo; the pinch harmonics are doubled, which is why they pop out so much. :)

Glad you like it! Point of clarification, tho: it's not a KWS, it's an exact replica of a J Frog. :D

To answer your questions...

Warmoth uses the same nuts for the Schaller Floyd as they do the Original Floyd. If you need one that screws in from the top, try here: http://guitarpartsdepot.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?LNG=en-US&Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=FRLN

Do not use glue to attach the Floyd nut, especially since these nuts often need shimmed to achieve proper height. On a new neck, the mounting holes should not be stripped at all, and you should be able to solidly screw the nut on without any need for glue.

Speaking of glue, I don't recommend glueing the neck either. There is more to a set neck than just glue, and while I've heard of people adding glue to a bolt-on, I don't think it's the smartest idea. It gives you none of the benefits of a set neck, and takes away the advantages of a bolt-on. People tend to underestimate the contact pressure created by a solidly tightened set of neck bolts. The reason that certain set neck designs may sustain a bit longer than a Strat-style bolt-on has to do with a large, properly fitted tenon or dovetail joint, which creates more surface area contact between the neck and body. It has nothing to do with the actual glue. So I'm going to strongly recommend you not glue it.

As far as the tuners go, just get some less abrasive sandpaper and lightly sand inside the tuner holes until you can fit them in without forcing them. The actual grit doesn't matter too much, as long as you sand lightly and don't use anything too abrasive.

Hi all, many thanks to Ben for commisioning me to build this neck and believe me I fell in love with it myself damn I nearly never let it go ( only kidding). If anybody reading this post wants to here a cool guitarist then Ben's the man, soulful playing and more importantly a real genuine stand up guy and it was a real pleasure to work with him on this project. I cannot wait to see the full beast in action it is gonna smoke for sure. Yes nice Lynch soundclips is a definite must Ben on this baby, glad that I could of helped in achieving your goal. Cheers Laz.
