kicking around some crap

Wanted to see what was up with tossin' a g12t75 in the recto 2x12, and then copping a 1x12 cab later for the other v30. I don't keep up with speakers too much, and since there are cats with much-o experience-o here, i ask, are there other speakers be it less or more money i should have a gander at? tankz :dunce:

actually, if i have a thiele c90, am i right in assuming i cant toss it in the 2x12 because the c90 is an 8 ohm speaker and the two v30 in the 2x12 are 16 each? ohms mess me up. maybe i should google more about the subject

You have to use the same ohm speakers in a cab, IIRC.

You might check out WGS and Eminence speakers, lots of guys like those brands. I use eminence, my cabinet came with them (they are the eminence speakers Dimebag designed with Eminence and used in his Randall cabs back in the day). If you want loud, Eminence is your brand.

Hmm. Interesting, any particular model that would be sex for ear vaginas coupled with a v30? Idc about how it would work with a clean sound.

What kind of sound are you looking for? More bass? Less high mids?

The WGS Veteran 30 is like a vintage 30 with less high midrange. http://wgs4.com/content/vet30

I don't know what I'd pair with Vintage 30, but if you are looking for a slight variation on the the vintage 30 I would try the WGS I suggested.

I've got a 2x12 with a v30 and a g12t75 in it!


It sounds great! I only wish I had another so I could run two heads with that exact speaker combo at the same time!
