this thing is perfect for someone looking for a small head for a 1x12 cab...Buckeyedog turned me onto to it because i had been looking at Blackhearts, Epi Valve Jrs, Tiny Terrors and etc!

I cant wait to play one. I am sure some may act snobby that it was made overseas to keep the price point at a level us normal dudes can handle, but still, I can't wait to try it. If it sounds good I will probably have to save and snag one.

I'm tellin' ya' Hoss...the Rebel is a little killer!

My only issue is the speaker choice...I'd prefer somthing else but thats an easy "fix".

I'm really interested to hear this one. As a longtime Blue Angel owner I want to hear the tube mix control in action.

I'm tellin' ya' Hoss...the Rebel is a little killer!

My only issue is the speaker choice...I'd prefer somthing else but thats an easy "fix".

i'm thinking of running it (like i have one already...lol :laughing on top of my 1x12 closed back with a G12h30 in it...how do you think that'll sound?!

egnater chose a special speaker thats really just a tweaked Classic Lead 80 and thats one Celestion speaker I really don't care for...an H30 woudl be a great choice IMO.

That's a hot little amp, especially at that price point. Come tax return time I may try and track one down in a store and if I like it...

I was most impressed with the clean tones in the second clip. I bet that thing takes pedals extremely well, too.

bummer it is available from GC only ... he made a real deal with the devil on this one .... i know he is a heckuva nice guy and a heckuva talented designer .... i hope it works out ok for him ... when you lay down with dogs, you wake up with fleas

Wonder how that'd sound on a 4x12 of g12-65 Celestions?

I like the idea of going from good ol deluxe-ish tones to voxish ones with the turn of a knob, and the blended tones should be interesting.

I'm just too poor to think of any more amps right now.

I played one of the prototypes at the NY Amp Show back in May or June... pressed on time, I'll have to come back... but the short, SHORT version is that it seemed cool but left me underwhelmed.

The Tiny Terror has left a much deeper impression on me...

However, I'm interested to see what the final version of the Rebel 20 is all about. Are they shipping yet? They were supposed to have been in stores months ago...

yeah, some are trickling out .. it is supposed to be 'in the system' at GC, but most are finding them as 'special order' (if you can find a 'sales dood' to actually help you) ... not sure when they'll be sittin on the floor to try ...
