primarily i do lots of clean stuff, pretty ambient, and i focus more on adding to the general feel of the music. (main source of this would be "speed of sound" by coldplay.) i even play to the point to where some people actually confuse some of what i do with the keyboardist.
but i also like to get some nice overdriven tones. kinda like creed and such.


the pickups i was thinking of using, are in a guitar i'm building (mahogany body, maple neck, ebony board). tele inspired.
i'm ready to route for the body, and i was thinking of 3 pickups which would be
bridge - lil 59 tele bridge
middle - hot rails sthr1-n
neck - vintage rythm stack str-2
(3 way switch, with the middle wired up to a push-pull as a killswitch)



would this get what i'm looking for? i've been considering this alot, and i'm almost positive this will perform all my needs.

the lil 59 seems like a good choice. the hot rails neck version is more useful than many people think.

if it was me, i would put a strat stack in the neck like the classic stack +. ive never been a fan of tele neck pups and stacks are no exception
