Know what my favorite headstock is? Gretsch. That's what.

Yes, it is.

Gibson Custom headstocks are pretty friggin incredible too. Not quite as cool as Gretsch (with its abalone inlays), but still very cool.

What's your favorite?

My favorite:

I also enjoy the normal Gibson headstock and the PRS headstock.

Ibanez is my favorite, because of the little scoop thing out of the end.

the epi headstock looks castrated somehow. very weak compared to the gibby, and the difference is actually pretty small!

i rather like pointy headstocks too

Yes about the Epi, no about the pointy headstocks.

Although Jackson's really is very cool. Just seethes badass.

BC Rich eeks poser.

Nothing beats a Tele or a Strat headstock.

Jay... that's so wrong... doesn't even deserve to live. You will receive 5 lashes.

For some reason my baby daughter LOVES my Jackson headstock - only the black/red one though. None of the headstocks on my other guitars, even the other Jackson, interest her but if I show her the black Jackson one she breaks into a massive smile.
Weird how babies work.

My fave (and in this color scheme & graphic-late 80s)

:haha:

As for me, dunno, never was a headstock guy although I tend to like the somewhat-pointy-but still in line (no sideways break angles, that's my ONLY gripe with Jackson's sexy headstock) 6-in-line headstocks.

Carvin's 6-in-line comes to mind although that may not necessarily be my fave or anything...

Generally I dislike the 3+3 but for purely practical reasons and they wouldn't be a show-stopper for me if I otherwise loved the guitar...
