Koi is finished, just a few tweaks required to get her to play perfectly...

beautiful as always! whats the wood?
The top is a 22mm thick bookmatch of an old piece of timber I have had in my stash for about 20 years, its curly maple burl, the back is Brazillian mahogany, neck is Queensland maple, Silky Oak, and purple heart with ebony pinstripes.

As far as picture posting, are you using the little picture button at the top of the posting box? That's how I do it. Then I just drag and drop. Screenshot 2026-03-10 083738.webp

A just point!

Years ago now, before I had my paws on your stuff, I played an 80s PRS CE 24 in which someone had put a set of Mick's PAF style hbs - great sounds.

Pictures of your works of art are always appreciated and enjoyed. I though you said you were hanging up your files and chisels? I was depressed then, but excited now to see you are still at it. Still in (I forgot the name of the town) the southeast coast of Australia?
