Kosher for mini-humbucker?

New Les Paul Deluxe showed up today. :dance: The bridge pickup looks funny though. It almost looks backwards, but the best I have is anecdotal experience with regular humbuckers. Does anyone out there with actual Les Paul Deluxe experience know if this is okay?

Your pup ring is mounted backwards compared to the 68/69 deluxe I've always messed with (dad's).

I found a picture on eBay that I think matches up to mine. It would be pretty amazing if this was a QC slip up. Regardless, the damn thing is stayin' as it's quickly becomming my new favorite. :bowdown: Only five more guitars to go until I hit a dozen.

It's not backward. That happens sometimes. It wasn't mounted with the proper care. Remove your strings and remove the pickup you might need to get some foam and place it under the pickup to make it sit the way it needs to.

Funny you mentioned that, after I slept on it I remembered those rings are very bouncy and can get out of position.
