Yep it has a notch.

Not sure about the jack, the wiring was butchered before I got it and things were NOT stock. It does have a jack plate but it looks like someone cut black/white/black pickguard down to make a plate.

It's gotta be an '84-'85. Most definitely. That thing has mojo despite half of it not being stock.

The head stock is what threw me at first. When is saw it hanging with the other guitars, it just looked like a beater copy because there was no name on the head stock. Pulled it down anyways and thats when I notice the the Neck plate. The head looked like whoever had it before scratched the name off and painted (with a brush it looks like) where it was scraped off. The tuners and the Floyd had traces of gold paint on them. If I was guessing, some kid probably had it (maybe a long time ago) and thought it needed a new look.
Anyway once I get some pictures, you guys can tell what I really have. Thanks for the input.

Wow, sounds like somebody seriously abused that thing. You may have a cool project on yours hands to if you get the desire. Restore the neck and get a new Kramer logo off eBay for it, fix up the body and such. Does the headstock look like the one on mine and is it angled back?

Yeah, it's angled back. On the underside of the headstock are two holes that are used for the nut. The neck is maple w/ a rosewood fret board. The headstock is also the pointy type, rather than the hockey stick oval nose.
As stated earlier, the body is candy red, which doesn't do much for me. Once I get it, after I play it awhile, I'll do like you said and strip the entire thing down, get all the gunk, paint and what have you off. Not sure if I should strip and repaint the body, but the headstock will need it. Once I get it and get some pictures posted, I'll see what the brothers think: strip and paint or leave it alone.
Thanks for the tip on getting a new sticker for the head.
