Laney VC30 Footswitch - Can I build it?

I have a Laney VC30 212 amp. When I bought the amp, it didn't come with a footswitch. I can't really find a place online that sells the pedal for this amp. I was wondering if I could build it myself and save myself $50-$60.

The footswitch changes the amps channels between the clean and dirt channel and it also switches the reverb on and off. The input for the for the footswitch in the back of the amp, just looks like a 1/4 inch jack. I'm assuming it's a stereo type jack since the footswich changes the amp's channel and reverb.

Anybody else have any ideas? I can post amp schematics that Laney sent me if it helps.

Thanks,

Tom

Yea I have a similar problem.. the VC50 i just got didnt come with one, and the only way ill come by an FS4 is if someone just happens to sell it on ebay or something. The only thing is that it uses the 5 pin connector, and i dont know if there is another third-party switch that will work for it or what.

I'd suspect that most two switch amp pedals with a 1/4" stereo plug would work.
