No, the story was that he sat in back of the class with his head down the whole year. That was a good 15 years before my time there.

FWIW when I was a teenager I had a Bruce Springsteen T-shirt in the rotation and his 3+hr concert was one of the most memorable I had gone to.

Fun fact: my high school English teacher was Bruce's, too. I lived one town over from him (and one town over from Jon Bon Jovi- his cousin hung out at my house a lot). Also Zakk worked at the local music store when I was in high school.

Well, hell. I did that. I was napping. Except in Latin. Teacher would throw eraser at snoozer's head and NEVER miss. Slept through 2 degrees, too. When I showed up. Hey, we suffer from depression. You just don't know when it's gonna be a good day!

Usually I see Nils Lofgren playing a Stratocaster guitar like Little Steven but that banjo guitar looks very cool looking indeed.

I call those guys "Guitar Show" players. Rick Nielsen probably goes through more guitars than anyone during a show. Tom Petty switched it up a lot followed by Tommy Shaw. Then you have the polar opposite in Neil Young who not only plays the same Les Paul the whole show but never tunes it.

Hahaha. Saw Steve Earle with a 12 guitar and 1 mandolin rack on stage. Boy. He got fat and old too. Neil Young just adjusts his voice to go along with the untuning.
Little Stevie switches up too.
