Can't listen from work, but I'm subscribing to this thread because I loved the last tune you shared and I'll check this one out when I get home.

Did not like the cheesy metal drums though but the 8 bit zelda vibe is definitely there.

Yeah, mix not done, but feel free to comment as I go, I will miss some things.
On the two I've posted, its a Jackson dk2. C8 in bridge, 1meg vol, 500k tone

NP - thanks for posting these. I love old-school video game music.

As far as the mix, I felt that the right-side guitar felt a little low..

Also, I think the guitars as a whole could be brought up higher. You can hear them but they feel "secondary" to the rhythm section.

Also I'd like to hear more stereo separation in the track. It feels a little narrow to me, and the rhythm guitar track underneath gets mostly eaten by the left-side lead.

Other than that stuff (on a single listen), I thought it was pretty rad.

I never post in this room, but your recordings totally rock dude. Sounding wicked. I agree with what Sosomething has said about the mix, but overall, sounds amazing.

Thanks, i have some more expansion that im about to post, however it does not implement any of the mix updates, including those that sosomething mentioned (which i happen to agree with)

however the rhythm track is written in the music, it stops the chugga to play the harmony.
Have been contemplating a fulltime rhythm part though...

adding some string and such to fill in the midsection....
